These beads are very attractive and allow a woman working in the corporate world to wear Tulasi without fear of incurring criticism of unprofessional behaviour from her boss, etc.
Thereby maintaining protection, where there was often unable to be any before.

I have purchased the tulsi beads for my children to where as they have reqested to "follow" Krishna like Mum, I have wore them since the 1980's when i was a devotee in perth. When my children were born they received my orginal beads as i could restring them to fit. I have been moving around the country and have not been attached to a temple and was in desperate need to receive new tulsi beads. Since we are all using them now we have many more questions asked about them, which in turn gives us more opportunities to talk about Krishna. I love the silver cups which protects the tulsi and also gives a look of fashionable jewellery. I have only one thing that I would like to mention and that is the clasp on the small neck beads, it has changed colour very quickly and i have had to replace it to keep it looking great. |
